Marel insulated piercing connector PIV CC is designed to establish contact by simultaneously piercing the insulation on medium voltage covered conductors (PAS/BLL). The connector is engineered to establish reliable and excellent electrical contact through insulation piercing and penetration into the conductor. The connector is waterproof, which prevents moisture ingress at the contact point. Marel connector PIV CC is supplied with an insulating end cap type CECT. All Marel connectors PIV CC are supplied with two end caps. The caps are filled with grease up to 50%. All parts of the connector are made of stainless materials. The connector is intended for connections without mechanical load and is designed for single use only. Marel connector PIV CC does not contain any parts that can fall off during installation.
