About Clamps for Non-insulated Networks
Following the first electrification projects using bare copper conductors, the initial challenge was how to extend the conductor or create a reliable and stable connection - this led to the development of the first copper clamps. With the introduction of bare aluminum ACSR conductors, a complete range of aluminium clamps was developed. Marel continues to manufacture modern versions of these clamps, featuring improved and optimized designs.
Manufacturing Standards:
SRPS N.F4.106, SRPS N.B4.934,
SRPS N.B4.935, SRPS N.B4.936, DIN 48072-1, DIN 48072-2, DIN 48075-1
Testing Standards:
EN 61238-1-1, EN 61238-1-3, EN 62561-1
Key Advantages
• Design that provides large contact areas between the clamps and the conductors and connection elements.
• Serrated contact surfaces for more effective removal of copper and aluminum oxides.
• Controlled tightening with integrated torque nuts.
• The mass of the clamps ensures long-term durability and reliable operation, even under very high current loads.
• Possibility of installing plastic protective covers on the clamps.
