Insulated adapter for short circuit and grounding is installed via Insulated Piercing Connector Type CBS or CDRS. The Adapter is installed on the tap-off side of the Insulated Piercing Connector Type CBS or CDRS. Insulated adapter PMC has markings on its outside and their selective removal marks on which phase or neutral conductor the connector has been installed. Water resistance is tested in water, under voltage of 6 kV during 30 minutes. It is made for short circuit current up to 4 kA/s, of constant current up to 200A. Before installing equipment for short circuit ad grounding it must be checked whether overhead power distribution line is not under voltage.
