Full Tension Aluminum Cable Joints are designed to connect alu minum conductors of the same cross-sections. Connection is done by crimping process and fulfills requirements of Standard EN 61238-1-1. The inside of the joint is protected with electrical contact grease. The joints have markings that provide information regarding the number and width of crimpings. The dimensions of the joints are according to Standard DIN 48085-2. The connection made using Full Tension Aluminum Cable joint can withstand mechanical load which is 20% bigger than the tensile strength of the conductors themselves.
