PRE-INSULATED AlCu (AlAl) JOINT MJPT (FOR MAIN LINES)

Pre-insulated Joint MJPT is designed for connection of two main lines of of LV ABC. Crimping is done over the insulation sheath with a die E173 or E215. Permament and clear markings on insulation sheath indicate the sequence and the number of crimpings, cross-section of the conductor and stripping length. Waterproofness is ensured by elastomer caps which are made in different colors so that the cross-section of the conductor can be easily identified. The inside of the Joint is filled with silicone grease. Dielectric strength of the Joint is tested in water for 1 min and is greather than 6 kV.
Mechanical strength of the joint is:
- for self-supporting LV overhead conductors: 85% of MBL of the conductor;
- for LV ABC with insulated neutral messenger: 60% of MBL of phase conductor; 95% of MBL of neutral conductor.
Pre-insulated Joint MJPT is made of high-quality materials of high tensile strength and resistance to environmental effects and UV radiation.
