IOS 2/2 2X16-35/16-70 mm²

Marel Insulated Connector IOS 2/2 is designed to establish contact by simultaneously piercing the insulation on LV ABC conductors of main power distribution line or to connect one or two higher power objects to the network. It is possible to derive two branch lines. The connector is made in such a way that it enables connection regardless of whether it is an aluminum or a copper conductor. When the bolt is tightened the teeth of contact plates pierce through the insulation and establish an excellent contact on both the main line and one or two branch lines, without need to strip the insulation. Tightening torque is 20 Nm. The contact plates are protected with electrical contact grease. The connector can be used/installed only once. The bolts should be tightened alternately.
